Debra Sue works an an Art teacher by day and as a fine artist in whatever free time she can find.
She took her drawing skills to the streets in 2010 and since then has been pleasing crowds at public chalk events throughout Ohio. Her anamorphic style of 3-D looking art often plays into the surroundings in which she works. Debra Sue has also created site specific street art paintings and murals for public and private spaces.
In the studio, Debra Sue shows craftsmanship in a variety of media. Her paintings, drawings and collaged mixed media pieces most often draw inspiration from the natural environment. Layers of details that reveal themselves slowly keep viewers intrigued in the compositions.
